Burn down the malls, but first; let's have coffee
Good morning,

Happy Saturday. I don't remember if I mentioned about the LG phone I've been using as an mp3 player because the sound is amazing? Well, I was curious if I could get a 2g network phone working, and I ordered a sim adapter to try it, and surprisingly it does! I can't connect it to the internet, but it gives and recieves calls and text. So this is going to be my weekend dumb phone, as a change from my flip phone. The keys on this though does make me miss my old blackberry so much. The size and the keyboard. The simpleness, and lack of all those preinstalled apps that I can't seem to get rid of. So anyway, as mentioned in the last coffee chat, I ordered the Blackberry Key2 and I can't wait for it. Should arrive in two weeks, but we are having a postal strike that is doing a rotating strike so it may take a bit longer. I also ordered unopened blackberry earbuds, and a phone/wallet case for it. I will post it when I get it for sure.
As I was searching about the Key2, I found a whole community of people into Blackberries and still using them, also this awesome site crackberry.com that had a very helpful fourm about my Key2, and a petition to bring back Blackberry phones. Both either in an actual Blackberry, or in concept of a medium of the road phone again. Not dumb, not a full on smart phone, but a phone as a tool again. You know I signed it :D
Anyway, let's get into the song shuffle.
It's Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper with Burn Down The Malls, On his Get Out of My Way mini record from 1986.
You can check his stuff out on discogs which he also did something in 1991 with Cheer-Accident! I never knew that. I'll have to check that out.
