Dystopian Junk Mail

Let's have a coffee break together.

Good morning. I am feeling like I finally settled in here, even in this short amount of time. Why am I here? Probably like everyone else who has come to bear and the small web or indie web, which ever you would like to call it,

to breathe.

ahhhhh

It feels so good here. There's something so nostalgic about bearblog. I feel in love when I first saw it. Neocities is great, but I feel I was getting more obsessed with how the site looks over all, and what I really wanted to start a writing and little art blog from the start: focus on the art and writing. I got so caught up in the look of the site, it was sort of becoming suffocating if you know what I mean. So I ended up hearing about 'tiny web' for a while now, and love the simplicity of it all. So I was taking my time to look around at places and found BearBlog to be the place for me. Also reading the concept of why this place is created flows with my ideals of what I loved and dearly miss with the internet.

So here I am. I'm really enjoying it so far, and just brought over a bit from the old site. I'll link the neocities site on the home page just to remain as an archive of the old stuff, but starting today, it's going to be on here going forward. I feel this is a great place for my daily writing hobby and the other creative little things I enjoy doing. Thanks for taking a look at my stuff.

Song shuffle of the day!

recordsmall

Back on the old site, I used to do a random song shuffle from my mp3 player's all songs playlist, and whatever comes up, I post. Here I thought to carry on that in our coffee chat. The song that came up was this: PXL_20250809_122718634 The band is Modern Art and the song is Images In Sand

Modern art's bandcamp
